A report of a high rank SS and police officer Friedrich Katzmann is the first edition of a newly published report on the so-called Reinhard action (Einsatz Reinhard) whose aim was the extermination of the Polish Jewry. The original report and other important documentation pertaining to the extermination of Polish Jews, namely, the report of Jurgen Stroop about the suppression of the Warsaw ghetto uprising in April and May 1943 were given to the Polish side in 1948. Both reports were placed in the archives of the former Head Commission for the Investigation of Nazi Crimes. The Katzmann's Report is one of the most characteristic Nazi documents in which a high rank SS and police officer who had been in charge of the extermination of thousands of people described the executed crimes in the form of an official report. The report contains 153 photographs which have not been previously published. The publication is avalible also in German.
