During the course of the ongoing investigationit was established that a large unit of the National Armed Forces headed by Henryk Flame Bartek, consisting of 300 people, was active in Podbeskidzie in 1945-1947. In 1946, the Ministry of Public Security initiated activities aiming at infiltrating the unit by its agents and liquidating it. As a result of 'Liquidation Plan B' 200 members of the National Armed Army have been transported and murdered. The transportation was done under the pretext of displacement to the Western territories.
