As was established in the course of the ongoing investigation, a large unit of the National Armed Forces headed by Henryk Flame Bartek, consisting of 300 people, was active in Podbeskidzie in the years 1945-1947. In 1946, the Ministry of Public Security initiated activities aiming at infiltrating the unit by its agents and in result at liquidating the unit. Within the adopted Liquidation Plan B the action of transportation and murdering of 200 members of the National Armed Army was undertaken. The transportation was done under the pretext of displacement to the Western territories. In the course of the investigation it was established that the soldiers were accommodated in the barracks in the area of Łambinowice. They were next given meals with the addition of a strong sleeping agent. When stunned and unconscious they were stripped, taken to the previously prepared pit and killed by the shot in the back of their heads. The place of their burial has not been found out, but an appropriate action consisting in the archeological research has been initiated.
