Extermination of the Jews in Rzeszow Region. Album of Remembrance
Collection of archival photos depicting life of Jews in Rzeszow Region before
the WWII and during the Nazi occupation as well as contemporary photos of the
mass murder sites and mass graves. Most of the archival photos were taken by the
Nazis who did not restrained from registering their own crimes. Poles were
banned to take photos therefore there are only a few photos taken secretly. In
the attempt to present a complete story the authors of the album included
memories of eye witnesses, maps and documents. Many of the photos and documents
have been published for the first time.
