The Labour Camp in Świętochłowice (February-November 1945) was organized in the former barracks of the Auschwitz camp. It was the place where "traitors of the Polish nation", "Nazi criminals" and other "enemies" were sent. In reality Silesians who stated their German identity were its main prisoners.
The volume consists of the selected documents which illustrate the functioning of the labour camps in the post-war Poland.
