Deportations of Upper Silesians to the USSR in 1945

Proceedings of “Deportations of Upper Silesians to the USSR in 1945” session organized by IPN Public Education Office in Katowice and Upper Silesia Museum in Bytom in February 2004.
The authors tried to depict the complexity of the deportation problem, paying close attention to the industrial region of Upper Silesia, and the families who suffered in the effect of the displacements. The publications includes also results of the investigation of the dramatic events. Authors:
