Conspiracy and Civil Resistance in Poland 1944-1956. Dictionary of Biographies.
The second volume of the Dictionary includes 147, and similarly to the first
one, it consists of short descriptions of people who opposed the postwar Polish
reality and have always fought for the independence of Poland. The dictionary is
an attempt of presenting motivation and lot of those who were opposing the
communist regime in the 40s and 50s.
The descriptions are written by experts in postwar history of Poland, who
analyzed the documents, which were concealed in the Polish Peoples Republic
times. Third volume is being edited.
