Daily Bulletins of the Ministry of Public Security 1949-1950

“Daily Bulletins of the Ministry of Public Security from between 1949 and 1950” includes detailed information about situation in Poland seen from the perspective of the Warsaw headquarters of “bezpieka”(secret security). The description is deformed by constant quest for enemy of the working class, but precious with regard to detailed descriptions of facts previously unknown. The information from the bulletins had influenced the home policy of the state. The printed version includes a selection of documents focusing on description of moods and the society’s resistance as well as the arrests for political reasons. The supplements which describe the people reaction on political and socio-economic events are particularly valuable. The attached CD contains all bulletins from the period 1949-1950.
