Cuban oppositionists visit IPN, August 30th, 2007

On August 30th Janusz Kurtyka, President of IPN met with representatives of Cuban opposition who paid an official visit to Poland.
Janusz Kurtyka described the IPN structure and functioning of all four departments. He stressed the importance of prevailing the post-communist mentality and pointed out that it is necessary for the Cuban archival resources to be transferred to an independent institution after the fall of the dictatorship.
The Cuban delegation expressed their will to engage cooperation and working contacts with the Institute.
