Imprisonment of the Primate Stefan Wyszyński, the Head of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland
On October 10th, 2000 a Branch Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation in Warsaw started an investigation that aims at disclosing of all possible circumstances that contributed to the unlawful imprisonment of the Primate Stefan Wyszyński.
The arrest of the Polish Primate was based on a single act of the national authorities and executed by the functionaries of the Ministry of Public Safety. Presently, the investigating procedures are being continued in the case (particularly the archived materials are collected relating to the circumstances of this
event).

a fragment of the protocol from the meeting of the Secretariat of the Political Office of September 23rd, 1953;
