This is the first comprehensive monograph on Polish conspiracy on the lands occupied by the USSR in September 1939. The book begins with a synthetic description of the situation on the Eastern Borderlands of the Second Polish Republic from 1939 to 1941. Secondly, the underground activities on the pre-war voivodship are reconstructed. The author attempts to detect the local differences and possible similarities, in turn estimating the scale of a phenomenon and placing the events in the right context.
