December 13th. The Martial Law in Małopolska in the Witnesses’ Reports

The aim of the collection of thirty-one reports included in the volume is to fill in a visible gap in the Polish historiography which needs to be expanded by professional research and publications devoted to the most recent history. The reports show the solidarity resistance and repressions which were a price for freedom. They simultaneously constitute the record of activities which led to the birth of free Poland. The indexes of names and key words constitute a real encyclopedia of the martial law. This makes the volume one of the most important sources of knowledge about social resistance after December 13th, 1981 in Małopolska.
