On May 29, 2002 Branch Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation in Gdańsk issued an indictment against Janusz B., a former official of the Public Security Office in Lębork. He has been accused of committing a Communist crime of conducting physical and psychical tortures during the explanatory proceedings concerning a youth organization, the Polish Underground Skauting, in which he acted as an investigation office. The crime was committed in the period from September 19 to December 19, 1949. During the prolonged night interrogations, the accused was beating his victims all over their bodies and threaten them with death. The members of the organization were between 16-18 years old at that time.

Currently, the proceedings in this case are conducted in the Regional Court in Lębork.
