Celebration of the European Day of remembarnce for the Victims of Totalitarian Regimes – Bratislava 2016

During the annual ministerial conference associated with the celebration of the European Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Totalitarian Regimes the Institute of National Remembrance was represented by Dr. Mateusz Szpytma - Deputy President of the Institute of National Remembrance - and Katarzyna Kienhuis - Head of the IPN Division of International Relations.

During the panel organized by the Slovak Nation's Memory Institute President Szpytma delivered a speech during Session "Justice and Coming to Terms with Totalitarian Regimes Crimes from the Criminal Law Perspective"

The celebration of the European Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Totalitarian Regimes was organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic. During ministerial talks the growth of political radicalism in Europe in the context of historical experiences of the twentieth century was discussed.
